Walk up the Gellert Hill, and enjoy the view from the Liberty Statue; then visit the most famous Market Hall of Budapest, a great option for a typical Hungarian street-food lunch.

You need a guide – to discover the main flavors of Hungarian cuisine! Our walk begins in front of the fascinating Gellert Baths, and ends in the famous Great Market Hall of  Budapest. After the hike, and the (outside)visit of the mysterious Cave Church, we walk  across the Liberty Bridge to enjoy the Hungarian culinary specialties in the market hall. The Great Market Hall is both architecturally and gastronomically impressive. Do you know that the most famous Hungarian spice (paprika) first came to Hungary with the Turks? Do you know the difference between strudel and Hungarian rétes? Do you know how many different flowers you can make honey from? We will taste local goat cheese, truffles, Hungarian salami, jam and strudel.
